After I changed back the session.php to Version 1.7 the admin works fine - it seems as Harold changed something quite important. 

I am just waiting for an answer to the Bug-Report I made, but I think the whole team got a lot of work with other important things at the moment.

But your error message seems to be caused by some wrong or missing filenames - have you just seen the update from application_top ? They moved the database tables definitions and the filename definitions out to separate files like already done in the catalog.

Maybe you have not checked out the new filenames.php and database_tables.php.
