With that said, any template system included in MS3 will certainly not be a paid contribution, nor should it be. That won't preclude people from setting up stores to sell custom themes, though. In fact, I'd support (philosophically) anyone that wanted to do that in a heartbeat. The template system will be an important and integral part of making OSC easier to customize without potentially mangling the PHP code that controls the logic. It should result in an easier to support store for these boards, as well if done properly.
