Hi,
I am new to osCommerce and this board so maybe a short introduction is in order.

I have been doing web development related work off and on for about 7 years. I started out doing mostly ASP and later Java as a wage slave. And after that have been running my own (partly my own actually) small intra-/internet business for the past 4 years.

Recently one of my clients pointed me to osCommerce as one of the options they were considering for their online business, asking me if we would be able to provide an implementation based on it and some support/ training related stuff.

Today another client came to me asking basically the same thing.
From where I am sitting it looks like you guys are doing something right in the publicity department ;-)

As I expect some business to come my way for doing implementations of osCommerce in the near future I will be able to commit to some time to help out on osCommerce development.

And finally my question:
Is there a way to provide patches/ contributions to osCommerce for outside devs? (I noticed all open bugs are either unassigned or assigned to Harald Ponce de Leon)
If I want to get on the ball and start contributing are there things that would be appreciated/needed the most?

Anyway:
It looks like I'll be working with osCommerce in the near future and from what I've seen so far I might even like it ;-)
Congrats on what looks like a pretty solid product.

Regards,
Rob
