Steps are being put in place to speed up the development process so the time between release should be much shorter.

Contributions are planned for integration after ms-4 jsut before the final release of 2.2.

The reason these have not been done yet, is we wanted to concetrate on getting a rock solid, secure and fast core before we started bloating it with contribs.
