It's not just ideas, but getting your hands dirty and getting some work done. The best way to get heard in any OS project is putting in some effort besides just talk.

Well, for this to take off this doesn't need just votes, but contributers.

Just to clear something up: I didn't say I would lead this effort. I'm  hoping someone a bit more senior/ well known to osC would step forward.
But if noone steps forward and it looks like this might stand a chance I'll clear some time in my schedule and take a stab at it myself.
