This message was sent from: Development http://forums.oscommerce.com/viewtopic.php?p=219904#219904 ----------------------------------------------------------------
again me. i dont think making n branches are good but one more experimental branch would be great
The idea of a branch has evolved somewhat into an organised effort to develop, maintain and discuss contributions. It's aim is to work with osC, not so much branch it. Although ofcourse the concept of a contriubution as used by osC is a pretty broad one, you could conceivably create a contrib that changes the whole of osC, but there's not much point in that. The trick is going to be to find the right balance.
especially if there's no much progress (i didnt use osc before so i dnot follow and dont know really)
It's not necessarily about lack of progress, it's more about how you and me working on the same thing, instead of working together on it because there's no convenient channel for communication. Watch this channel for updates, Mark Evans (sparky) has been pretty responsive and he and the rest of core team are discussing how to proceed with this. Cheers, Rob
