I am still unsure what exactly this contribution does as compared to all your other contributions?

Looking at your demo site, I can't see anything that is really new. Maybe I am just missing it. Is this like Ian's Loaded Snapshot? If so, then I will pass. If it adds new functionality, how do I see it?
