On the product attribute in admin there is 

sort -value- prefix- free -action

sort  is position order
value is product cost
prefix is ?? does this add an attribute + or - as a one off cost?
free is - as it says, but what are the variables?
Action self explained.

I am trying to add an attribute as a one off cost that does'nt get multiplied by the product value?
