Is there a "Delivery Date" feature hiding anywhere?

I'm thinking about using osC for building a store delivering SERVICES rather than GOODS. If somebody books one of my DJs in osC, I need them to be able to specify the date that they require his services before they pay.

Ideally a system which avoided double bookings would be the best option, but initially anything which added a section (I guess in the checkout) where people could choose the date of performance would be useful.

Anyone spotted a contrib online? If not, anyone planning anything? If not, any suggestions as to where I could easily add a date option in the checkout process?
