I have taken off the last year as much time as I can from work to pursue php, MySQL and osCommerce development.

So far, it has been a pretty excellant experience.

I wanted to pursue these without major distractions except from a small base of my clients ... you know, that part where you gotta eat and pay the bills sometimes ... :wink:

Otherwise, no, I would not have the hours to devote to all of these add-ons like I do. And it's important to me to keep them current and up to date as well as offer features that I hear people ask for or come up with as I am coding along.

It's a great way to steamline code. Re-write it a dozen or more times and you learn how to cut corners, gain speed and make it easier ... I hope ... to install.

Some files there isn't a way, at least not yet,  to make simple. But they are getting there, slowly but surely. :D
