Okay we have a start!  (Thanks Mattice)

Has anybody tried experimenting with Linux/PHP/OSC/MySQL on any of the Compaq IPAQ handhelds?  They can be reprogrammed with Linux as the main OS.  In theory this would then become a mini OSC shop.

I like the Idea of XML, I am not sure if it would work on all micro platforms. I know some of the new cell phones do support Java exclusively now simply because of the available toolsets.


So back to my first question has anybody developed any mods that allow mobiles devices to communicate with OSC in a remote/host enviroment ? 

If so, what where the challenges and what is needed in OSC to accomodate this?

Do we need to put a XML parser into OSC?
