How many customers/emails can the newsletter manager handle?

This message was sent from: Features http://forums.oscommerce.com/viewtopic.php?p=183378#183378 ---------------------------------------------------------------- i have a dedicated server, an amd 1800xp, 256 ram......do you think it would be possible to use the newletter manager for 6000 customers that are signed up for the newsletter functionality? i.e. send out 6000 emails with the feature. how far has everyone tested the newsletter feature? i would hate to try it on a production server and have my resources sucked up, or cause problems for customers accessing the osc front end. Any feedback would be great, thanks in advance. j
