RE: vendors details

I have used the vendors contrib which is just an SQL alter and add command to add the Vendor's table and modify the products table to include the vendor id. I was wondering if there is a page in the admin area that allows me to enter the vendor details or do I have to create a new page todo so. If I have to create one, could you tell me which one would be best? I will also modify the product.php page to include a drop list of the vendor id and the vendor name nad therfore include it in the upload of the product details. 

Is this correct or is there a page already there that I can include in my site that does some/all of this?
