Exchanging articles between shops

Hi, 

dont beat me, if this is the wrong forum, please :)

My question: Is there a way to export the complete information of an article (including manufacturer, etc.) with the goal to import it in another installation of oscommerce? 

We are thinking about creating a "shop ring" in which we share articles in different shops. 

Any hints?
