Japanese date

Can somebody help me to resolve the difficults: I need to input date in japanese format (2003Y-08M-26D) during the registration a new user and also show it in My_Account information. The best way (if possible) to make 3 different fields: for Year, Month, Day. The problem is - I have not only japanese lang and I need to keep other lang's settins (including date of birth) as is. What should I change and where? Thanks a lot!
