host multiple virtual shops

hi there

please forgive me if this has been asked before - (i searched but couldn't find anything).

i am developing a payments site and i would like to be able to offer merchants a shop & cart that's hosted on our site (if they don't have one of their own).  

is it possible to host shops and carts for multiple website users within the same oscommerce installation?
