category/subcategory/sub-subcategory

I've setup the categories to be three levels deep. I think I have created a problem here although I don't see how. The categories display just fine on the left side of the browser. When I click they drop into the first level of subcategory. When I click on the subcategory then I get another line which is the sub-subcat. The problem is that when I click on any of the categories I get  the icons for the category or sub category or sub-sub category coming up at the end of the page after the last item in the left nav box (Information). After that I get the new products header bar and then the right nav box all justified to the left margin. Any ideas here???
