This message was sent from: General Support http://forums.oscommerce.com/viewtopic.php?p=227122#227122 ---------------------------------------------------------------- When you attempt to access your site and are asked for your password (I assume this is for your admin section), do you receive an authentication box or is it a page that looks to be part of osCommerce? If it is a box, then you should be able to edit the .htaccess file in your admin folder to remove the 4 auth lines. If it is a page, then you will need to determine which login contribution was used by the original owner. If you have a copy of the database and selected the drop tables option at the time the backup was made, reimport that file and you should be able to get in with your old password again.
