Please can you help me

I have been playing around with my new found shop - only to think, right Ive finished!

But no - i have got some default text on the front of the shop, that tells me i have to install the bits on my server.

Only thing it my server has multiple urls on, so not sure about uploading it to the root - what should I do?

   and copy the 'catalog' directory to the webroot path of your webserver:

   cd oscommerce-2.2ms2
   cp -R catalog /usr/local/apache/htdocs/

   For this example, '/usr/local/apache/htdocs/'"

I thought it was just a simple process - is there a VERY simple abc guide anywhere? I mean really simple?

I thought I was doing so well!!
