I have thought about it, but am not knwledgeable enough to discern the best way to do what I want using osC... here's what I want to be able to do... I am setting up an osCom site for a friend of mine and he will simply be selling garments with specific images on them. Each type of garment (5 different types in total) will be available in a range of sizes with one of 6 images on it. Nothing too difficult I hear you say, but.... which is the best way to present this to a customer? Do I put my osCom site products as the garment or as the image that is to be printed on the garment? or do I have to get photographs of each of the garments with each of the images on them and use these as products on the site? If I say put photographs of the garments as the main choice in the catalogue, how then, if a customer can choose 1 of 6 images to have printed on that garment - do I show the images they can choose from? I appreciate I can have them in a pull down list (as is the case with size selection), but I'm sure you'll all agree that it would be much better if I were able to have the images "shown" rather than presented as a pull down text list. So, the sales process is...
-> Customer chooses garment from pictures of 5 garments on main page -> customer chooses which image they want printed on their chosen garment (how/from what?) -> customer chooses size from pull down list as normal osCom -> customer proceeds through rest of order as normal osCom
So, hope I have made my dillema clear - can anyone advise as to the best way to achieve this (if it is possible) using osCommerce. Many thanks John
