I would wrather not drop my prices to $0.00. I would prefer to have a price for the either the least expensive with increasing attributes or the most expensive with decreasing attributes. Either way I need a price in the top of the display with attributes to modify it.
The best scenario would be to create a default line in attributes that always defaults to it that says something like "Choose another style or size here" with no value. When the customer opens the attributes box it lets them choose a value to add or modify the existing product.
I hope this better clears what I am after. John M
John ... perhaps you should seriously look at the Shoppe Enhancement Controller v2.2 demo site and try out the Catalog and Admin. It does everything you have talked about thus far that I have seen. And a zillion other things on attributes, prices, discounts, etc. Is this basically a new site that you have? SECv2.2 is osCommerce MS2 that has been loaded with numerous add-ons from the community, all the pricing and attributes control add-ons I have written and a lot more.
