SSL? Does that have to be set before setup?

Hey all,
my server alleges that all I have to do is put an "S" after http in the address to enter SSL mode. However when I do it I get all barebones, no images or color oscommerce store?

Do you have to configure SSL in the beginning of installation, or am I doing something wrong? Or is it the servers fault?

So you can see, my store is at
