Restore Database Not Working on New Server

My web host just went to a new server and to MS2 vesion of the cart - 7 days newer. Everything working except I can't restore my backed up database from the current cart and server to the new cart on the new server. When I try to restore the progress bar shows progress for a few seconds then it goes to a blank white screen as if done - but the restore doesn't happpen. Any ideas what is wrong?
