Strange problem with corrupt html-output

Hi,
maybe some one can help?

When I visit the index.php the first time in a session, the html-source has strange errors: like cutted hmtl tags "<td<table ..." or "<imgText_that_follows" . When I press the reload button of the browser the source is fine. never seen such a problem anywhere. i tested different things but it comes up again and again. maybe it's a problem of the php version of my webhoster?
The same site works fine on my lan production server with php 4.3.3.

My Configuration:
OsCommerce MS2
Php: 4.2.3 with Zend 1.2.0
