click  modules in the admin.

then click paypal.

then click edit.

you should get this:

PayPal (Pay by Visa / Mastercard / Switch etc.)
Enable PayPal Module
Do you want to accept PayPal payments?
 True
 False
E-Mail Address
The e-mail address to use for the PayPal service
Transaction Currency
The currency to use for credit card transactions
 Selected Currency
 Only USD
 Only CAD
 Only EUR
 Only GBP
 Only JPY
Payment Zone
If a zone is selected, only enable this payment method for that zone.
Set Order Status
Set the status of orders made with this payment module to this value
Sort order of display.
Sort order of display. Lowest is displayed first.

 

tick only GBP


Do you not have this information above, reinstall the paypal module, and make sure you have the right one.
