If I build the site on my own domain and purely link his site seamlessly to mine through his navigation panel the code belongs to me because I have not distributed it. If he want to move, tough because that part of the shop remains on my site. Providing you make the shop look identical to the rest of the site the only downside of it would be the change in url when you click on the navigation panel on his site. Does this sound ok?
