You can do what you want with Oscommerce so long as:

1) You release GPL
2) You retain the necessary copyrights in the code of each page
3) You only remove the viewable "copyright" from footer *if* you have made substantial changes to the look.
4) You retain the copyright footer in the Admin section.

It is quite legal to go and download Oscommerce from Sourceforge, then burn it to CD and sell it on Ebay (without making any changes whatsoever!).  

No-one can say anything about this - it is the freedom that the GPL gives to you.
