Ok, I'm confused. It's late so maybe I'm reading TOO many posts about this, but I can't seem to get the answer straight to these simple questions:

My client is asking why we need to have the OSC copy at the bottom of te page. I want to be compliant, but also satisfy my client.

- Do I have to keep the osCommerce link in the footer, or not?

- There is mention of just keeping the OSC mention in the HTML, in comment form. This seems questionable. Is that ok?

- Could the OSC copy just be on a particular page, or must it be on every page? or none?

- Any other clarification of what, exactly, visible copy must be placed on visible areas of the customer site to be legal (and ethical).

I'm sure this has been asked a million times and someone will point me at an old thread. Sorry to be ignorant, I am just trying to be compliant..

thanks, dave
