Hi,

first let me excuse for my weak English ... i am German. Nevertheless I hope you understand what I am trying to say:

The company I work for is a provider for a mobile payment system. We are running a demo system in which it is possible to shop in different shops. In the moment these shops are static HTML shops, which isn't a very sexy showcase. My task is to watch out for webshop solutions that we can use in our system.

As I am not very familiar with legal affairs and fear not understanding the GNU texts in the right way I decided to ask here if the following stuff is possible:

We want to add our own payment instrument. Therefor we have to make several code changes. Another thing we possibly want to change is the user management. Our product has it's own user management and delivers only the information to the merchant, that is important for him to ship his products, so the shop don't needs an own user management. At last we want some design changes. The problem is, that we do not want to unfold the code after the changes for now, because this system will run only in one instance, on our demo-system. Of course we would put a remark and a hyperlink to the original product on our pages ...

The question: would this be ok? Are we forced to publish our changes under the GNU licence, too?
