First post, what were YOU thinking? :)

I'm in the process of setting up a real online store, moving from a static html page with paypal cart buttons.  I was leaning heavily towards x-cart until someone suggested there might be some open source alternatives out there.

So, I'm running a demo of both products right now.  I like what I see in osC so far, but I have to admit that x-cart was a little easier to get configured.

If anyone has any good reasons why I should go with one vs the other, please let me know.  Not looking to start a flame war, I just don't want to make the wrong decision.
