thanks for the reply.

I`ve seen sites though that removed the banner and the text, there is no sign of "oscommerce" anywhere.

in one of the .php`s it did say if you change the design of the website away from the original copyrighted design you can then remove the text and banner.

But from what you say maybe these sites that have removed all existence are not supposed yo, is there any oscommerce admin that can clarify this ?
