Upgrading from MS1 to MS2

I know this topic has probably been beaten to death, but can somebody either help me out or point me to the correct thread where I can find some answers?

Basically I have MS1 installed, and I would like to upgrade to MS2.  I just want to know what would need to be changed in terms of data?  And kind of structural changes or anything to get all the data to move over?

Any help would be appreciated.
