Used silencer's suggestions, and along with doing the same thing in other various places in application_top and configure, I was able to get it working.

And, got it working on a different host too, using the same suggestions!!

You know, without this discussion board, oscommerce would not be what it is today. 

Now that I'm getting more seasoned in oscommerce, I plan to start answering some newbie questions -- for all of you who are just here seeking help, I hope that you'll come back once you start to really understand this stuff and return the favor.
