one thing i learnt early on is that the rate they offer you can be negotiated down to a more reasonable level my first offer was6% and I ended up with 2.68%, if your offered a crap rate ask for a better one. the banks are a business and they are trying to make as much as possible...DONT let them. Business is hard enough without giving all your money to someone else
