I am selling tickets for an educatinoal conference. I will be using a 3rd party server to run oscommerce from with payments via protx form vsp. Am I right in thinking that I need to register under the data protrection act because the mysql database will form a record of customers and orders including personal details? As the computer on which the data is stored is neither on site nor owned by the charity, does this present problems? ANy advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you, Matt
