Card Systems and Nova Information Systems. Are not as costly as you might think. We currently have an account with Nova Information Systems. The standard monthly fee is $19.95 and the discount rate for card not present transactions is something like 2.8% for Mastercard and Visa and 3.0% for American Express. For Card present transactions in the retail store, these drop to less than 2.0%. Overall it is very affordable and the company pays more in Paypal fees for less transactions than it does for Nova... You should look into it.
