All cc companies bill in the customer's own currency. Thus a Swiss customer with a Swiss bank's Visa or Amex card, will checkout of your site in CAD, but will be billed in Swiss francs - with the amount in CAD and the exchange rate on their cc statement. 

So, whether switching to the local currency in osc checkout is an advantage or not is debatable.
