I look for an API to store and retrieve articles in a database. Possibly templates would be a good thing as well. The articles should be able to be put into categories and sub-categories and there should be full-text search. The Article input should have a WYSIWYG editor that works in both IE and Mozilla.

I don't want weather, news, RSS feeds from slashdot or php.net, etc. I don't want forums like phpBB or IB integrated into it because I have a preference towards vBulletin. I don't want to use a links system that doesn't fit my needs so you can scratch that as well. I don't want to be forced into a 3 column layout.
