I don't see how you could connect osC to an ERP system of any magnitude.

The reason why most ERP web interfaces are not of the standard you see in osC is because they concentrate on implementing the backend features of the ERP system.

I work for Intentia (Movex) and our new web interface is good now.  It's taken a few years though because of the complexity and functionality of the Order Entry process.  

Based on this, I would suggest writing your own interface between osC and an ERP system is a non-starter.  If you remove the complexity, your customers won't use it, because they are used to the options you give them.  For example, Movex stores customer descriptions, item numbers and customer-specific prices, price breaks and promotions against every product.  How would you do that in osC? You wouldn't, because it's aimed at a different market.
