User Defined Fields

Hi Everyone,

I'm pretty new to OSC but am very impressed.
I was hoping that for a product you would be able to list a primary supplier and the supplier’s stock code. 

I thought rather than suggest something I need, I'd suggest something everyone could benefit from. User Defined fields would allow a lot of additional functionality for everyone.

They'd allow you to have a wholesale price if you have users with access to wholesale prices (as the UDF for customers would allow you to specify), you'd be able to export accounting information to other accounting programs, you'd be able to match up using other UDF & you'd also be able to put in supplier codes :)

If the database kept track of the UDF names then you would not need to modify PHP code when doing upgrades. This would save a lot of QA checking when doing version upgrades for programming and for users.

I must say great job on OSC, I've looked a few and found that this is one of the fastest to get you up and running.
