To answer the question of how I am doing it - 

I have decided not to split the numbers, just to avoid a hassle, and also to avoid the problem of a lost email. It would not go over well if I had to call a customer and ask for a cc number again.

I am having a copy of the order sent to me via email, then I am going to check the database to process the order. I only accept Master Card and VISA. I am simply putting some text on the credit card page providing this info. I guess mastercard and VISA logos on the default page may be a good idea as well. I am also going to accept phone, fax and mail orders. I will put a link up to a PDF form they can print out for mail and fax orders. Eventually, I will get an 800 number, when I can have someone at the phone all day.

If anyone has any other good ideas, I would love to hear them.
