Of course I can't see your PHP code, but did you attempt removing the "//" comment marks?

If you did and it doesn't return back to where it was...then the problem was something else.

Sometimes our sites are slow because we need to optimize our databases.

Question: How many customers do you have (roughly) and how many products have been purchased?

Unless its on the order of tens of thousands, then this shouldn't slow you down much.
