No wording inside the message?
I believe the email should have this text in the body:

-- begin email body --
A new password was requested from (remote server address here).
Your new password to (name of your store here) is (new password here).
-- end of email body --

The wording is in this file - password_forgotten.php:
path to file:
catalog/includes/languages/english/password_forgotten.php
