Still received the same message by changing the / to \.
Message example is:
'-' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

script looks like the following:

"pdf" => "c:/xpdf/pdftotext FILENAME -",
"doc" => "/usr/bin/antiword FILENAME"
);
Do see command boxes opening as the indexing hits a pdf fie. The command
box is empty however.

Can you try to use / instead of \ in the path to pdftotext? Which version
of Windows are you using?
