Greetings,

Just installed Perlfect search on my site and am having problems calling the
indexer script from the html for page.

I have set a password in the conf.pl file, and customized the html form tag.
The search engine is working fine on my site, and I can run the indexer with
no problems locally on the server.

I am on a Windows 2000 box running IIS. The problem is that when I click on
the submit button on the form page to run the indexer, the browser pulls up
a "save as..." dialogue box as if I was trying to download the indexer
script rather than execute it on the server!

I know it is a problem with execute/permissions, but I cannot get this to
work after many attempts. The indexer.pl directory has execute permissions
and the data directory has write permissions.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Craig C.
