the system account thing would be not too hard to disable, just a
minor source edit, however you don't want to disable it unless you
like rootkits, php isn't the most secure thing.  there is zero reason
to login to phpgw as root.  root's email should be forwarded to the
admin's user account.  there is no good reason to directly login as
root over the network to any service.
