I know that it shouldn't only delete the pointer. that's the problem I mean.

Again:
I logg in, he lists all mails.
I select one and say 'delete'.
Then the mail disappears, but only the pointer to the message.
If I logout and login, he does a new listing and the mail is still there.

to protocol:
no, I can't look into the protocol of the mailserver, but this can't be the problem, because I use Uebimiau (http://www.uebimiau.org/), thats a webclient for mails over Pop3 and if delete a mail in there, it is realy deleted.
Only phpmygroupware can't delete.
