Initial Comment:
I'm developing for Tiki (tikiwki.sourceforge.net) a new 
module based on phpOpenTracker to allow admins 
creating their own statistics.

I will extend a class from the phpOpenTracker_API 
class but the main problem I'm finding atm is that I 
can't change the database settings (or any at all) 
without modifying the .ini file. Is it possible to do 
change settings at runtime without having to change 
the .ini files? I need to put the same settings that my 
app already has, so the user doesn't have to change 
multiple files to make the app work.
