[phpOpenTracker-User] Problem with simple_report

Some time ago Simple Report started to behave strangely. Everything 
works fine except when I want to se the detail about one of the client 
sites. The start-page works. I get the total and the monthly 
expression/visits. But when I click the client-site names it spits out 
an error:
phpOpenTracker Error: Access denied for user: 'user_name@%' to database 
'database_name'
(user_name and database_name are the correct values)

Everything else works fine. Visits are getting logged, but simple 
report wont work. I have tried reinstalling everything from scratch. 
Several times.
