[phpOpenTracker-general] getting search_engines.php to log and using conversions

I am having some trouble with getting the plugins search_engines and 
conversion set up. I have followed all the instructions and still there 
seems to be no logging of the SEs and I have no idea how to start 
implementing the conversion api or how to get it to log at all.
